About Ordinary Child Video
When the Japan Tsunami struck in 2011, we gave all our pocket money to the people who had lost their homes. But it wasn’t very much. Having seen how Gangnam Style took the world by storm in 2012, we were inspired to do our own music video in the hope we could raise much more money for charity than the small contribution we gave to Japan.
Then, in the summer of 2014 someone gave us a piano.
So…
…we asked our parents if we could get piano lessons, if they could help us write a song and make a music video. It was hard to find the time because our school is a local Hong Kong school and everything is taught in Chinese. We have piles of homework and a lot of exams and we didn’t want to give up other stuff like sport and art.
We are Kasper, Tristan and Myron. We were aged 9,9 (yes twins) and 6 – just ordinary kids, but we realised that with enough effort and a bit of help, there were things we could achieve. A year later, after a lot of hard work, we realised the first part of our dream; to post the video on YouTube.
We really hope you’ll watch it and help us with the second part of our dream; to raise much needed money to support our favourite charity, ADM Capital Foundation to protect our environment through the conservation of biodiversity.
